SaintlyHound ("we", "us", "our") operates the SaintlyHound web application at saintlyhound.com and app.saintlyhound.com. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the app, including bottles scanned, cellar inventory, tasting notes, and taste preferences. This data is used to personalize your experience.

Photos: When you use the scan feature, photos are sent to our AI service for analysis. We may temporarily store photos to process your scan. Photos are not shared with third parties except our AI processing provider (OpenAI).

Location data: We may detect your approximate city from your network connection (via Cloudflare) to show relevant local pricing. We do not track precise GPS location.

Device information: We collect standard technical data such as browser type, device type, and operating system for troubleshooting and improving the app.

• To show crowd-sourced pricing in your area

• OpenAI — AI-powered bottle analysis and recommendations

Affiliate Links and Shopping

SaintlyHound includes links to third-party retailers such as Total Wine, Wine.com, and others. When you click these links, the retailer and our affiliate network partner may collect information about the click and any resulting purchase. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and follow reasonable security practices. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your Rights

• Opt out of optional data collection (e.g., location-based pricing)

Children's Privacy

SaintlyHound is intended for users of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the legal drinking age.
